£20 Aviator and £20 boots - January Bargains

These photos were taken a few days ago, when the snow was still here!

eeek! my gorgeous new heeled boots from Linzi Shoes! They were such a good price, how could I resist?! - I've seen ones like this in high-street stores for prices up to £85, so i'm very happy with mine!

I love the buckles on the boots, they make them look so different and unique. I don't think I've ever seen ones quite like it before this A/W 2010!
I love wearing them with jeggings, leggings, and my thick winter black tights!
They seem to be good right now, especially with all the bad weather and the snow, it's nice to not have soaking wet shoes after a walk!
One of my favourite things about these boots is you can fold them over to see the gorgeous shearling lining. (so yes, pretty much wearing the same pair of boots too different ways!) because when folded, they look like a completely different boot!

Another bargain from my recent buys is this black faux leather Aviator Jacket from Chiara Fashion! At the price of only £20 i'm pretty pleased with this! - I'm wearing this jacket with chunky knitted scarves over long tops and leggings. It's a very casual winter look!

Those Christmas Tights by Cheeky Legs

As soon as I put on these limited edition Henry Holland tights, they made me think of christmas! So I decided to style them with a velvet long sleeved bodysuit from (missguided) & a simple black bodycon skirt for a simple, yet effective christmas look.
They maybe suspender tights, but having already got these in black at £12 a pair for a Henry Holland design, it's a bargain.

Whip My Hair - Willow Smith style icon?

Probably the most catchy song of 2010, Willow Smith has now got people the world 'whipping their hair back and forth' - You got to admit we've all tried it!
My 5 year old sister turned on a music channel yesterday, and was whipping her afro back and forth to the song!

Being the daughter of mega movie star Will Smith, Willow Smith is immediately going to grab the limelight which no other ten year old would have, some people see Willow Smith as a money making project by her parents, but even so won't this fund her education/university fees and future housing making all this money so young?
But is this wrecking her childhood? Being so busy all the time, promoting her new single, no time to just 'hang out' with friends? what do you think?

But as for the 'fashion' side of things. I think Willow is phenominal. She changes her hair style in each photo you ever see of her. I love how she wears such contrasting clothing and makes it all look so good. (As you'll see in her video if you watch it!)

She's obviously taken inspiration from Rihanna, but what do you think of Willow Smith? Do you love her or hate her? Have you whipped your hair back n forth?

A Question Of... T-shirts

So sorry I have not updated in a while, probably had the most hectic (busy) weeks of the year so far, and with all my deadlines in this week it is really hard!
But I have made time to show you this fantastic brand I've been telling people a lot about lately and that is 'A Question Of'!

Buying a few of these catchy slogan tees has made me a huge fan and supporter of the brand! - You can buy 'a question of love' here.
At 48 euros, each they are a bit more expensive than the average top you buy but they are really worth the price! - The t-shirts are made from GOTS certified organic cotton and produced under fair trade working conditions in Tanzania.

A question of is making an effort to support employment, better living conidtions and sustainable growth in a developing nation in East Africa and call there brand 'conscious apparel'.

I really love these t-shirts and think they are such a good investment, and I am starting to really like environmentally friendly fashion!

Stephane Rolland Haute Couture A/W 2010

I've been so busy this past week, with Clothes Show live and a weekend away with college for art! We went to go and visit the V&A museum and there was a fashion show going on - which we got invited too, it turned out to be haute-couture Stephane Rolland!
I ended up sitting next to the Hair Stylist - Terry Barber (Mac make-up's director of artistry) and another professional from his team!

It was amazing to be sat next to two people so lovely and well known in the industry!
(I will treasure this!)

I love this photo, this dress is phenomenal. I really love the detailing!

There were a lot of dark blues on the catwalk, It just show how it's a true colour for the 'Hollywood Glamour' look. I think it'll be around a lot this winter, especially blue velvet!

Now for the outfit which stood out the most for me during the show, the detailing was amazing, the floor length dresses were really every girls dream!

Love these two dresses. If only I had something like this for Prom!

I really love how flowing the material is once the dresses are worn, The model on the right looked like an angel walking down the catwalk!

It was such a great experience epsecially seeing Haute couture, such beautiful dresses! (which have been seen on the likes of Cheryl Cole!)

I'm really liking dresses by Miss Patina at the moment and i've got another gorgeous dress to show you, this ones only £38 from Miss Patina. It's an all year round dress and can be worn with leggings, tights and flat shoes or military boots.
